Personal Information

This company collects the basic contact information of clients, including their full name, address, email address, and contact number, together with their financial profile and other pertinent information as required by the Securities Regulation Code (SRC), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), and other implementing rules and regulations of governing bodies exercising authority over the company and the industry to where it belongs. The company also collects clients’ transaction records through accomplished order slips and other forms of communication.

Use

Data collected are used for credit and risk management, know-your-customer checks, profiling, audit and administrative purposes, relationship management, prevention and detection of fraud or crime, system or product development and planning, complaints management, and other official or legal purposes. The CAIFs are kept and regularly updated as required by the SRC Rules and for the conduct of periodic customer due diligence and risk profiling.

Protection Measures

PSC undertakes that it shall process personal data only to the extent strictly necessary for the purpose of the provision of its services or such other purposes as may be permitted in writing by the client. Only authorized personnel are allowed to access client data.

The company will not retain the data for longer than necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose(s) for which such personal data is to be used. It will implement and maintain, on an ongoing basis, an appropriate and effective security program comprising of adequate security, technical and organizational measures to protect against all unauthorized, unlawful, or accidental access, processing, use, erasure, loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws.

Storage, Retention, and Destruction

PSC ensures that all personal data under its custody are protected against any accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, and other unlawful processing. Personal data is stored for five (5) years from the date of the transaction/closure of the account as mandated by the AMLC. After which, soft files of the data are deleted, including backup files, and all hard copies are shredded.
